Hello! I am an early-career plant ecologist and botanist whose research focuses on long-term vegetation dynamics, conservation of threatened species, and species’ responses to global drivers of change. Most of my work has been conducted in the Australian Alps. I hold a Bachelor of Biological Science (Ecology) and completed a Master of Science in the Research Centre for Applied Alpine Ecology at La Trobe University, where my research focused on the effects of global drivers of change (fire disturbance and climate change) on alpine summit communities. I am currently undertaking a PhD at University of Melbourne in the QAEco Group aiming to integrate empirical models, field experiment data, demographic models, and long-term monitoring to better understand range dynamics in alpine ecosystems. I also work as a sessional lecturer and tutor and previously as a course coordinator in the Biological Science courses at La Trobe University and Victoria University. I also work as a field botanist for consultants, and in a previous career, I worked as a Registered Nurse.
